Scope
We are seeking a full-time, experienced API developer who can manage and add to the external developer portal.
You will be developing our firm architecture together with your colleagues. As you will enter the company at an early stage you will have a unique opportunity to contribute.
IKambio is a Swedish startup within financial services. We provide a wide range of industries with it solutions that helps our customers to reduce cost and to have a better working environment. Main focus is on API solutions and UX. If you have experience from financial services, that is a plus but not a must. The pace is high and the firm´s mission right now is to build prototype that will be tested with customers. We handle our customers FX transactions. The first scope will be in Sweden, then we will move on internationally. We are situated in Sweden, Stockholm.
Your mission as an API developer is to lead API lifecycle development. That includes software development and code quality. The work will be done in an agile environment.
Responsibilities
Perform Agile testing – create and execute test scripts
Develop API services in an Agile environment
Create and execute unit test plans
Assist in scope definition, planning, estimation and tracking
Document all related work per company's methodology
Take ownership of software components and associated development and testing in terms of timelines and quality
Good working knowledge of distributed systems, web infrastructure and protocols, network architectures and distributed transaction processing
Qualification
Demonstrate technical excellence in software development (program design, coding, testing, debugging). Provide technical consulting/mentorship while demonstrating advanced technical expertise in languages, operating systems, databases, development tools, networking, and/or software packages Implement new applications, enhancements and bug fixes.
Experience in working with distribution
Experience in Continuous Integration (CI), Continuous Delivery (CD)
One or more of: Python, Scala, Ruby, Groovy
Write high-quality test-driven code
Social skills that makes you valuable in a team both by knowledge and by social skills.
